About ICS

Amid a serious housing crisis in Ireland and rising energy prices across the world, we recognize the importance of building homes that are self-sufficient, with a good cost to performance ratio, and, most crucially, a quick build time. There is considerable lack of affordable housing in Ireland, and our company’s goal is to address this problem through using ICF for a large-scale construction of houses in combination with other modern methods of construction.

We are a family business, with years of experience in engineering, project management, software and technology, and of course ICF. In this latter area, we have trained extensively to ensure the most streamlined possible methods when working with domestic or commercial clients. Different members of our experienced multiskilled team can be drawn on at various times depending on the exact service you require. We are always careful to provide a service personalized to your needs, working alongside other leading construction companies in Ireland to ensure specific additional services are completed to the highest standard.

Delivering Durable Affordable Homes Across Ireland

Why Choose Us?

Speed

Most homes in Ireland take many months, or even years, to complete, which contributes to the current lack of housing across the country. Through using the ICF method, our team can have a complete superstructure in a short period of time while not comprising on quality, allowing you to move to the next stage of construction in rapid time.

Comfort

Due to the tremendous thermal mass of the exterior wall envelope with ICF, temperature peaks are smooth, meaning homes are considerably warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. The reinforced concrete is impenetrable; no drafts of cold spots ever get through, and the structure itself has a fantastic acoustic performance.

Sustainable

Buildings constructed with ICF exterior walls require around 44% less energy to heat and 32% less energy to cool than traditionally built frame houses, allowing for a downsizing of HVAC systems. Landfilling construction waste is also reduced to under 1% with ICF. Each building constructed with this method saves approximately 8.5 trees, thereby notably reducing our footprint. At a time of genuine climate crisis, these buildings resemble the future. Soon they will be the norm.
